Termina is the name of a land nestled between ocean and mountains on an unknown continent in an alternate world, or so it seemed to Link, who unhappily came upon the land by falling into a tree trunk in pursuit of a Skullkid. Termina it seemed was in danger of imminent demise via the looming moon that threatened the smash into the land and wipe out all life. Link set out across the various parts of Termina in an effort across the fabric of time to prevent this catastrophe. Some of the areas he visited were Clock Town, the center of commerce for the land; the mountains in the north, crippled by freezing winds which threatened to kill the Goron villages; the Great Bay, with its tainted shore; and the Ikana Valley, home of the walking dead. The effort was great and only with the greatest of courage was Link able to do his sworn duty and save the people of Termina. Disaster averted, Link set off to leave this bizarre and twisted image of Hyrule.
