Hyrule Castle was built as a sturdy fortress to house the Royal Family. Located in a mountainous area, it has a natural land barrier that makes it hard for an enemy to strike. Held inpenetrable by many guards and knights, Hyrule Castle is reachable by a small path leading out of Hyrule Market Square. Hyrule castle has been captured and turned into Dark Hyrule Castle more than a few times, but Link somehow surmounts the odds, and wins it back everytime.
